The drivetrain riders have embraced as their best friend for all-day rides is now available with full e-bike compatibility.

The uncompromising, budget-conscious ethos remains built into the system, but has been modernised for a new generation of e-bikes.

The GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur is just as crisp and precise as the other rear derailleurs in the Transmission family, but features elements such as removable skid plates for better protection and easier maintenance.

Even on an e-bike, you can now shift under load thanks to a combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, delivering seamless shifts even at your highest power output. It also features a revised 10-52T range, making even the longest climbs easy.

The GX Eagle Transmission crankset stands out, offering no-nonsense riders an uncompromising balance of form and function, and is available in dedicated versions for different motor manufacturers. It is the crankset where pure performance meets optimal value. Its unique shape is forged from aluminium for strength without bulk. The available removable composite bashguards add functionality and allow riders to handle the scrapes and scuffs that come with the territory.

The GX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) chain is the strongest we have ever made. Specifically designed to optimise the Eagle drivetrain, this all-new T-Type design features a unique flat top and was developed specifically for the additional torque loads of E-MTB, with solid pins that give it incredible strength.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
