The tread of Scorpion™ XC RC was designed with cross-country World Cup riders: numerous low centre knobs for the best rolling efficiency and pronounced side knobs for cornering control. SmartGRIP Compound is a compound developed from experience in motorsport championships. The single-compound solution provides consistently high grip in both dry and wet conditions, even when the knobs begin to wear. All LITE versions focus on maximum rolling efficiency and structural flexibility: a lightweight casing to maximise speed and consistent handling.
Our sidewall reinforcement technology provides better puncture protection and handling at low pressures. An additional layer of nylon fabric is applied to the casing sidewalls for extra protection and greater cornering stability.
