Continental Terra Trail Tyre

The Continental Terra Trail 700x40 is a folding tyre designed for gravel and cyclocross, with tubeless compatibility and ETRTO size 40-622. The tread and sidewalls have puncture protection, useful on unpaved terrain where the risk of cuts and punctures is higher. The model is also designed for e-bikes.

To choose the size, check the ETRTO 40-622 marking on the sidewall of your current tyre: this version corresponds to 700 x 40 / 28 x 1,50 inches. The stated pressure is 72 PSI. The folding bead makes it convenient to carry a spare in your bag without taking up much space.

Founded in Hanover in 1871, Continental is still based in the German city today. For cyclists, it makes tires and inner tubes for road, gravel, mountain biking and urban riding. Its connection with bicycles goes back to its early days: in 1892, it became the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires.
