Michelin Pro 5 Competition Line Tyre

Michelin PRO 5 Competition Line: reliability in the service of performance

The MICHELIN Pro 5 sets a new benchmark in road tyres, designed to meet the needs of the most demanding cyclists, whether they are fans of long distances or racers.

With an optimised construction and innovative tread, this tyre offers a 35% improvement in rolling resistance compared with its predecessor, the MICHELIN Pro 4 Endurance. It was developed over more than 100,000 km by amateur cyclists, ultra-distance specialists and professional racers. This MICHELIN Pro 5 stands out for its exceptional longevity, excellent puncture resistance and ability to maintain consistent pressure, all thanks to a new casing with Bead-to-Bead technology.

Beyond pure performance, Michelin has also improved this tyre's comfort and grip. The Pro 5 offers wider sections and the option to ride at lower pressures than the previous version. With a redesigned tread, the Michelin Pro 5 stands out for its excellent grip and braking on wet roads.

The Michelin Pro 5 road tyre is compatible with Hookless wheels (without hooks), discover our road wheel collection.

Founded in 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, by brothers André and Édouard Michelin, Michelin is still based in the same city today. For cyclists, it offers tyres, inner tubes and accessories for road, gravel, mountain biking and city riding. Its connection with cycling dates back to its early days: in 1891, it developed the first detachable bicycle tyre.
