The Met Manta MIPS Limited Edition UAE Team Emirates helmet defines MET aesthetics and contemporary design. It is as brilliant as the original but has a sharper look and feels more advanced. The Manta MIPS is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to its lower profile and tube-shaped rear, developed through specific wind tunnel testing at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.

- MIPS system: Leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet, designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. When a head rotates rapidly and comes to an abrupt stop, rotational acceleration can cause high levels of strain in brain tissue. The stretching of tissue caused by these movements can lead to various types of brain injury. We believe that helmets equipped with MIPS technology can add a greater level of protection against certain types of impacts. MIPS uses a slip-plane system that moves inside the helmet, mimicking the brain's own protection system. This layer is designed to rotate inside the helmet with the aim of potentially slowing or reducing the amount of energy transferred to or from the head. Science tells us that if we can reduce the stress associated with rotational acceleration, we could reduce the risk and severity of brain injury
