In big cities, a helmet is an indispensable companion for every cyclist. Accidents happen suddenly, and a helmet protects against serious injury in a fall. With the Pedelec 2.0, ABUS offers a cycling helmet that meets the high safety requirements of big cities. Its low profile around the temples provides outstanding protection. The Pedelec 2.0 stands out with a rain cover integrated into the shell, which can be pulled out quickly at the first drop of rain. The rear light provides additional passive protection.

Lower edge protection: the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the helmet's lower edge and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear

Mips Layer: thin plastic shell between the inner padding and the helmet shell that absorbs energy to counteract rotational forces in a fall

Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark

Rain cover: removable rain cover integrated into the helmet for protection in bad weather

Rechargeable clip-on rear light: attaches to the back of the helmet and provides greater visibility - can be recharged with a micro USB cable

Two different lighting modes (rear light): Steady for continuous light and Flash for rapidly flashing light

Runtime per mode in h (min.): depending on the weather conditions and type of use, the light lasts at least 3,5 hours in steady mode and at least 8 hours in flashing mode

Charging time (light): fully charging the battery takes approximately 1 hour

Clip-on peak: removable peak secured with pins to protect against sunlight

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a fastening to secure the chosen position

Floating padding: the helmet's inner padding attaches at several fixing points, allowing it to move more freely and providing better ventilation and greater comfort when worn

Removable, washable pads: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Reflective straps: straps with woven-in reflective material for better visibility in road traffic, especially in the dark

Magnetic fastening: the straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic fastening that allows the chin buckle to be opened with one hand, even when wearing gloves

In-Mold process: manufacturing process in which the inner impact-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, strong bond
