Vision SC60 i23 DB Centerlock Tubeless Wheels

The new SC60 develops the concepts of previous versions and introduces the latest version of VISION rims, also used in the METRON range, but with more traditional and less extreme construction solutions. In particular, the aerodynamically profiled carbon rim, available in depths of 45 or 60 mm, has a hooked 21 mm internal width to ensure maximum efficiency with tubeless tyres from 28 to 32 mm. The 24 aerodynamic spokes with 2:1 lacing are fitted to direct-pull hubs. At the rear, the freehub body uses a traditional pawl design in an improved version, with no bearing preload adjustment but with press-fit end caps, making the wheels more reliable and easier to maintain. Our technicians have carried out extensive road and laboratory testing to refine the construction of the entire system, which now ensures significantly greater stability and performance, both in rolling efficiency and durability. This type of wheel is often used without particular attention to maintenance; for this reason, Vision has studied the decline in performance caused by use, improving every component and the fit between parts. Weight has also been reduced compared with previous versions, mainly through the use of new-generation carbon, reaching 1,590 g/pair for the SC45 and 1,690 g/pair for the SC60.
