The Redshift ShockStop replacement elastomer kit replaces the elastomers in 55 and 70 mm ShockStop stems. It is useful when the elastomers are worn or if you want to try a different hardness to change the stem's response.
The kit contains six elastomers, one of each hardness: 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100. To choose, start with the hardness you currently use and try the neighbouring options, remembering that higher values give a firmer response. The kit is not compatible with stems from 80 to 120 mm, which have a different shape, so check your stem length before buying.
