The SRAM DirectLink lever design produces a solid, positive feel the moment you squeeze the lever to apply the brake. It offers a practical solution to give you precise control.

Timing Port Closure

The timing port of a hydraulic brake is the connection between the reservoir and the lever cylinder bore. When the lever is squeezed, a cup seal moves past this area and closes the port, pressurising the system. The SRAM timing port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish that delivers dependable braking power and consistency.

Expandable Bladder

The new SRAM brake lever design includes a reshaped bladder that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder is specially shaped to evacuate air from the lever and push fluid exactly where it is needed. The result is improved back-pressure relief, delivering dependable braking power and consistency.
