Deda Superbox DCR Stem

The evolution of the current Superbox to the DCR system for full cable integration. 1 stem, 4 mounting options. The stem can be used in 4 different ways to suit any cable routing solution on the market: DCR, S-DCR, Direct and External. Together with Deda handlebars featuring the DCR system (Deda internal cable routing), the stem is the perfect solution for bikes with fully integrated cable routing. The Superbox® stem features a patented design offering two possible solutions for internal cable routing. Fully internal cable routing (DCR) or semi-integrated routing (S-DCR) through a cover allows installation, adjustment or maintenance without complications for electrical cable or hydraulic hose connections. Superbox® can be fitted to a traditional 1-1/8” fork steerer and is compatible with a 46 mm frame head tube (for a 1- 1/8” bearing) or a 56 mm head tube (for a 1.5” bearing). A set of spacers with cable routing channels completes the stem design. The spacers and cover are designed to open without having to remove any cables from the frame, allowing easy handlebar height adjustment. The innovative forging process gives the stem a flat shape for improved aerodynamics. The addition of the 70 and 80 sizes makes the Superbox stem the best choice for MTB and gravel bikes too. Available in a POB (Polish on black) finish.

Fitting Alanera and Superbox to certain bike models requires a specific plug adapter (Colnago C64 & V3RS) or insert (BMC, Cervélo & Factor).

For Orbea, Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, ARC8, the specific adapter must be used as the first spacer below the stem. *For the Tarmac SL8, the adapter must be used together with the spacer kit and top cover of the original equipment stem fitted to the SL7.
