Trek Fuel LX 9.8 XT Gen 7 Full Suspension Mountain Bike
Couldn't load pickup availability
Trek Fuel LX 9.8 XT Gen 7 takes the Fuel Gen 7 platform onto steeper, rougher trails. The 160mm at the rear and 170mm Fox Factory 38 fork support descending, while the 29-inch wheels help hold a line through rocks and roots.
- Suspension for descending: The Fox DHX2 coil shock works with the Factory 38 fork with GRIP X2 damper: a package focused on initial sensitivity and support on bigger hits.
- Gears for climbing: The Shimano XT 30-tooth chainring and 10-51 12-speed cassette provide low gears to reach the trailhead.
- Enduro support: Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres with EXO+ casings, four-piston XT brakes and a dropper seatpost support riding on technical descents.
The LX configuration is the Fuel to choose when the priority is tackling long descents and demanding terrain, reaching the trails under pedal power.
Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
