VENTO ARGO R5 is a high-performance racing saddle with a short-nose design that improves stability and enables a more aggressive, aerodynamic riding position.

Where a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to change position frequently for better leverage, Argo puts the rider in a more planted position, providing greater stability and better weight distribution. Vento Argo's shorter length allows the rider to sit further forwards without putting excessive pressure on sensitive tissues.

It also features an ergonomic cut-out developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As a racing option, Vento Argo was designed to deliver a ride feel suited to road bikes with aggressive geometry.

The padding uses Fizik's patented Type 1 foam formulation, which has a lower profile and is responsive and resilient for an instant response and optimal power transfer.

Its purposeful design helps you achieve a better riding posture: the dropped nose supports the pubic ramus when the pelvis rotates forwards to add power or improve aerodynamics.

Argo is a product of the Fizik Concepts programme, an interdisciplinary collaboration of leading industry experts and academics researching and analysing technology, design, physiology and bike fit to find ways to improve cycling performance.
