The new Fulcrum Speed Combo 42/57 wheels mark Fulcrum's first step into a new era and dimension for the brand, Form, Function, Fulcrum, where form and function are the fundamental concepts.
An evolution without compromise: the new rims - deeper, wider, lighter and more aerodynamic - together with the new hubs and spokes create a perfect wheel system.
The new wider rims, paired with 28 mm tyres, offer an uncompromising performance combination in which aerodynamic efficiency, rolling resistance and comfort are at their best.
The rim uses resins and fibres made to Fulcrum specifications. Unlike previous versions, Speed Combo 42/57 uses a new composite blend of FF100 unidirectional high-modulus fibres. Extensive testing has achieved the perfect fibre blend which, combined with correct fibre positioning and extremely precise resin control, produces a product that operates within the correct elastic range, delivering class-leading performance and a superior ride feel.
