The Zipp Super-9 Disc Track wheel is a 700c carbon disc wheel for track and velodrome use. The clincher rim is designed for tubeless tyres but is also compatible with an inner tube. Its profile has a small bead hook, designed for aerodynamic efficiency. The track-specific carbon lay-up increases system stiffness.
The hub is a ZR1 Track with a 40 x 15 mm axle, so check compatibility with your track frame before purchasing. The rim measures 21 mm internally and 27.5 mm externally. The manufacturer specifies 23 mm tyres for velodrome use. The claimed weight is 1000 g. It comes in a single black version, in 700c.
