The MAHLE XS Smart Controller B + Energy Hub kit combines the XS system's controller B with the Energy Hub. The controller manages the entire XS system with BLE and ANT+ connectivity, is compatible with X30 motors and can be installed inside or outside the frame. The Energy Hub is designed for the eX1 (e185) range extender and has a USB-C port.
The Energy Hub supports QC5 fast charging and can work as a power bank to charge laptops, smartphones and bike lights. When choosing the kit, check that your motor is a X30, as the controller is specified only for this motor, and that the 330 mm WS2 cable is suitable for connecting to the motor. The XS system won the Design & Innovation Award 2025.
