The SRAM NX X-HORIZON Rear Derailleur offers the same smooth, reliable shifting as the XX1, from the larger upper pulley offset to the 12-tooth X-SYNC guide pulley. X-HORIZON enables faster shifting, reduces shifting effort and prevents chain slap. Unwanted chain movement is a thing of the past. Thanks to CAGE LOCK technology, removing and fitting the rear wheel is easier than ever.
- X-Sync guide pulley with 12 teeth
- The most affordable 1x rear derailleur with a wide range of features
- The X-Horizon design reduces shifting effort and chain slap
- Long cage
Cage Lock
Thanks to the rear derailleur's CAGE LOCK technology, removing and fitting the rear wheel and chain is easier and faster than ever. Simply push the cage forwards to release chain tension and lock it in place.
Roller Bearing Clutch
ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH rear derailleurs offer maximum riding stability, even on very demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology puts an end to bouncing rear derailleurs and chains coming apart, without sacrificing precision.
X-Actuation
X-ACTUATION technology, developed specifically for SRAM 1x, ensures precise, consistent shifting across the entire cassette.
X-Horizon
The X-HORIZON rear derailleur's parallelogram design limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting and reducing shifting effort. For faster, more precise shifting, the large upper pulley offset maintains a constant chain gap in every gear.
X-Sync
The X-SYNC 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The tall edges of the SRAM X-SYNC teeth engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The narrow, sharp tooth profile and rounded, angled edges help guide the chain. To deliver the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, X-SYNC chainrings feature recesses to clear dirt and mud from the chain links and inner rollers. German-made X-SYNC chainrings are an important component of the 1x drivetrain from SRAM.
Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
