Continental Gator Hardshell Black Edition Folding Tyre

The Continental Gator Hardshell Black Edition folding tyre is designed for road riders seeking reinforced puncture protection. The three-layer casing includes a PolyX Breaker beneath the tread and shoulders, while the sidewalls are reinforced with DuraSkin fabric. The folding bead makes the tyre convenient to carry in a bag as a spare.

The available sizes are 700x23, 700x25, 700x28 and 700x32. To choose, start with your bike's rim and frame: 23 is the narrowest and offers less air volume, while 32 is the widest. For size 700x25, the stated pressure is 123 PSI. Always check that the size clears the frame and brakes.

Founded in Hanover in 1871, Continental is still based in the German city today. For cyclists, it makes tires and inner tubes for road, gravel, mountain biking and urban riding. Its connection with bicycles goes back to its early days: in 1892, it became the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires.
