Met Trenta 3K Carbon Helmet

The MET Trenta 3K Carbon helmet is a top-of-the-range model from the Italian brand for the most demanding cyclists! It was used by Team Dimension Data professionals on the roads of the Tour de France 2017. Its aerodynamic shape uses the Venturi principle, with several exhaust channels across the shell to remove hot air from inside the helmet more effectively.
A strong, lightweight helmet made using the in-mould process, with a polycarbonate outer shell fused directly to the EPS foam layer, which in turn incorporates a 3K carbon structure that increases strength and elasticity. The internal padding is made from breathable Air Mesh foam.
The Trenta 3K Carbon helmet features the Safe-T Orbital occipital retention system with a micro-adjustment dial for horizontal and vertical adjustment (4 clicks).

The R&D team discovered that the elasticity of carbon allows the density of the EPS foam to be reduced by 20% without compromising its ability to absorb energy. The parallel "ribs" are connected by a carbon cage embedded in the liner, making it significantly lighter than traditional construction. The result is a lightweight helmet with improved performance that sets a new standard.

Safe-T Orbital fit system
A band around the entire head offers 360-degree adjustment, 3 vertical positions and two different occipital positions. Ponytail-compatible.

Air Mesh
Air Mesh stands for functionality and comfort. This three-dimensional, run-resistant fabric has an abrasion resistance of over 50.000 cycles and also ensures the highest levels of breathability.
