Schwalbe AV2L Inner Tube

The Schwalbe AV2L inner tube is a butyl inner tube for 14-inch wheels, suitable for children's bike tyres. It has a 40 mm Schrader (AV) valve and weighs approximately 100 g, a useful figure when comparing models.

The stated ETRTO range is 47/60-254 and the specification sheet lists it as compatible with 14-inch tyres. Before buying, check the marking on your tyre sidewall: as it is available in a single size, compatibility is the only selection criterion. The tube is designed for the use stated in the specification sheet, namely children's bike tyres.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
