ABUS TimeShifter offers measurable aerodynamic benefits across different positions, conditions and types of rider.

PROVEN TO BE FASTER Form follows function: TimeShifter has undergone continuous development for time trial and triathlon performance. The focus is on efficient aerodynamics with different head and arm positions and in different race conditions. This is based on in-depth CFD analysis, wind tunnel and velodrome testing, and validation by professionals. Development was carried out in close collaboration with aerodynamics specialist Swiss Side and with the involvement of WorldTour athletes. The aim was to develop a helmet that offered reproducible benefits in real racing situations as well as ideal conditions. TimeShifter represents a new generation of time trial helmets: rooted in science, developed using data and consistently transparent in communicating performance.

Ponytail opening: Thanks to the cut-out in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Cooling airflow system: The ventilation openings are connected by internal channels to direct incoming air through the helmet, ensuring maximum air circulation and a comfortable temperature around your head

Magnetic visor: A visor attached with magnets to protect your eyes against wind, rain and insects - easily removable and replaceable

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: Dial at the back of the head for individually adjusting the helmet to your head circumference

Slide Divider™: For individually adjusting the straps by sliding the strap divider - minimalist and functional

Comfort padding: Soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with hook-and-loop fasteners

Removable, washable padding: Can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

Magnetic buckle: The straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle that allows you to open the fastening under your chin with one hand, even when wearing gloves

In-Mold process: A manufacturing process in which the internal shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, strong bond

Founded in 1924 in Volmarstein, Germany, by August Bremicker and some of his sons, ABUS is now based in Wetter. It offers cyclists helmets and bicycle locks. Its connection with cycling dates back to 1931, when it launched its first bike lock, the No. 1000.
