Abus - INDY

Discover INDY: developed with professionals from the dirt bike scene. Minimalist design, maximum functionality: so you can focus fully on the ride.

LA TUA RIDE COUNTS INDY combines a pared-back aesthetic with maximum functionality: its archetypal construction is the result of collaboration with renowned athletes from the dirt bike scene. The helmet's design embodies a pure, uncompromising passion for dirt bike riding. No unnecessary details, no gimmicks: INDY stands for complete focus. With input from top athletes, the fit and functionality have been specifically developed to meet the needs of the dirt bike community. The helmet offers maximum comfort thanks to years of experience in helmet design, optimum padding and an improved internal shape. This is how we create the feeling of wearing no helmet, so you can live in the moment without distractions.

Ponytail opening: thanks to the recess in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a closure to secure the chosen position

Open-cell Comfort padding: soft padding inserts secured with hook-and-loop fasteners, with thicker padding to improve the helmet's fit even on smaller heads - quick-drying, open-cell structure

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

Clip buckle: for safe, practical use, the straps feature a classic clip buckle with a three-pronged connector for opening and closing

Hard-shell construction: a manufacturing process in which the injection-moulded hard plastic outer shell is placed over the impact-absorbing rigid foam, providing particular strength and protection
