The Icebreak high-neck thermal base layer is exceptionally comfortable thanks to its soft, stretchy fabric and construction tailored to different body zones. This careful design ensures maximum breathability by allowing sweat and moisture to move outwards, keeping body temperature consistently regulated.
Seamless sides and raglan sleeves also ensure outstanding comfort, further enhanced by flat seams. With a bold design, this high-neck technical base layer suits all tastes, keeping you warm and dry in style.
HOW AND WHEN TO WEAR IT:
You can wear the Icebreak high-neck base layer next to the skin as a first layer (combined with other garments of varying technical performance) when temperatures range from -15° to +10°, or as your only layer at temperatures from +10° to +15°. The temperature range indicates the extreme limits of use. The midpoint of the range should therefore serve as a reference for your needs, which vary according to the sport, weather conditions and your own temperature regulation. To increase thermal performance and protection, we recommend combining several technical layers, in keeping with the Biotex philosophy. Check which size suits your body measurements, choose your colour and find out when you can wear it and train in a technical, high-performance thermal base layer. This long-sleeved base layer is backed by Biotex's experience. The garment retains its technical properties over the years and through repeated washing, provided you follow a few simple washing and garment care rules.

This high-neck base layer from the Bioflex Warm range is extremely lightweight, comfortable and breathable. It feels like a second skin, becoming one with your body. The base layer's fabric is seamless at the sides, adapts to the body's shape and emphasises the muscles.
FIT:
Fit is the difference between the body and the garment worn, and how it adapts to the wearer. For the first layer next to the skin, we recommend close-fitting garments for greater functionality.

TECHNOLOGY:
BIOFLEX WARM is a graduated compression thermal base layer designed to ensure maximum performance and the highest level of protection for winter sports enthusiasts. The sculpted fit emphasises the muscles, while the fabric is highly insulating and breathable. Warmth and breathability are provided by BTX polypropylene yarn, which makes up over 85% of the garment and is interwoven with stretchy technical yarns. Each Biotex range has unique features that distinguish it in terms of warmth, fit, compression and design, but all aim to improve the body's performance during aerobic activity.
GARMENT DEL CARE:
Take care of your Biotex garments to ensure long-lasting use. We recommend washing the garment before use to avoid possible colour transfer to other garments. To maintain its properties, we recommend a gentle wash inside out at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Make sure all zips, buttons and Velcro fastenings are closed. Avoid or minimise fabric softener, as it inhibits breathability. Do not place on radiators or other direct heat sources, and do not iron. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. Bright/fluorescent colours may fade.
Biotex was founded in Faenza in 1990 from an idea by Antonio Visani and is still based in the Romagna town today. It makes technical underwear and clothing for cycling and mountain biking, supporting riders throughout the seasons. Its name combines “Bio”, life, and “Tex”, fabric: a reference to the idea of well-being through what we wear.
