The new GX Eagle rear derailleur not only accommodates the large sprockets of the Eagle cassette but also offers another evolution of the now-famous X-Horizon cage. The lower pulley with X-Sync technology allows the GX Eagle rear derailleur to move smoothly across the entire cassette, while giving every rider the incredible feeling of smooth, quiet shifting that only a Eagle drivetrain can deliver.

Cage Lock
Cage Lock™ rear derailleur technology makes wheel and chain installation and removal quicker and easier. Simply push the cage and lock it in the correct position.

Roller Bearing Clutch offers maximum rear derailleur stability even on the roughest terrain. Roller Bearing Clutch technology eliminates chain bounce and chain drops without sacrificing precision.

X-Horizon
The rear derailleur's X-Horizon straight parallelogram design limits movement along the horizontal axis, preventing ghost shifts and reducing shifting effort. For faster, more precise sprocket changes, the larger upper pulley maintains a constant distance from all sprockets.

X-Sync
Sram X-Sync 1x technology ensures the highest level of performance and durability. The tall, square X-Sync tooth profile on chainrings and pulleys provides optimal, consistent chain retention compared with chainrings and pulleys using the traditional triangular tooth profile. To ensure perfect performance even in muddy conditions, X-Sync chainrings and pulleys feature special recesses for clearing mud.
