Technologies
WT - Wide Trail
WT construction optimises the tyre's tread and volume for modern rims. Traditional tyres are designed around narrower rims and risk creating an overly square profile, reducing performance. WT tyres are optimised for 35 mm wide rims and work correctly with 30 and 35 mm rims.
TR- Tubeless Ready
Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tyres certified UST feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tyres. This technology offers improved puncture resistance, better air retention and greater strength at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. Adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound has produced a lighter, stronger and more airtight casing.
EXO-Protection
This material is added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tyres and is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasion. The layer has a dense, ultralight weave and is highly flexible, so it does not affect tyre performance.
