The X-SL series are the lightest chains at this level of the range. The weight reduction also brings many benefits, such as faster shifting, pedalling comfort and a significant reduction in chain wear. This proved impressive during testing, particularly thanks to the links, whose open structure allows dirt to be removed easily.
The hollow link pin is riveted using our latest "FLAT STEP" process, which secures the outer link with an impressive bonding strength of 350 kg, making it the strongest connection in the industry.
