Technologies
X-Range™
Over the years, road bikes have become faster and more versatile than ever, and cyclists are expanding what is possible on a road bike. X-Range™ is an innovation for today's cyclists. Road bike gearing has been completely rethought to offer a wider, more progressive range alongside smarter shifting parameters. With X-Range™, you can be sure you have always chosen the best gear.
AXS™
AXS™ is the new Sram component integration system that connects the bike's electronic components to the app. The Sram AXS™ app allows cyclists to check battery charge levels, change behaviour and customise shifting controls, as well as receive maintenance reminders and download app updates.
X-Sync
Sram X-Sync 1x technology ensures the highest level of performance and durability. The tall, square X-Sync tooth profile on chainrings and pulleys provides optimal, consistent chain retention compared with chainrings and pulleys that use a conventional triangular tooth profile. To ensure perfect performance even in muddy conditions, X-Sync chainrings and pulleys feature special recesses that clear mud.
eTap
All the core technologies of the SRAM eTap system, such as wireless shifting, advanced battery management and mechatronic technologies, are designed for a single purpose: to simplify shifting and create the most intuitive and responsive groupset on the market. The right lever shifts to harder gears, the left lever shifts to easier gears, and pressing both levers simultaneously activates the front derailleur. Simple, unmistakable and intuitive.
Battery not included. Compatible with 10-36 and 10-44 cassettes.
Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
