Urban protection with integrated visibility The ABUS LOWK-Y LED is the ideal companion for anyone who travels around the city by bike or e-bike every day. Whether commuting through the city in the morning, travelling by electric bike or enjoying relaxed short rides, this urban helmet combines reliable protection with a comfortable fit. The integrated LED rear light increases visibility in low light and busy city traffic. The Zoom™ Spin adjustment system allows quick, individual adjustment of the helmet for a consistently secure fit.

Ponytail opening: thanks to the cut-out in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns and plaits

Rechargeable clip-on rear light: attaches to the back of the helmet and provides greater visibility; can be recharged with a USB-C cable

IP44: protection rating certifying protection against solid foreign objects larger than 1 mm and splashing water for electronic products such as lights

Two different lighting modes (rear light): Steady for a constant light and Flash for a rapidly flashing light

Runtime per mode in h (min.): depending on weather conditions and use, the light lasts at least 6,5 hours in steady mode and at least 10,5 hours in flashing mode

Charging time (light): charging the battery fully takes approximately 1 hour

Breakaway peak: high-quality peak to protect against sunlight and overhanging branches - thanks to special technology, it can detach in a fall to minimise strain on the neck

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual helmet adjustment to suit head circumference

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a clasp to secure the selected position

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Removable and washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Magnetic buckle: the straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle that allows the chin fastening to be opened with one hand, even while wearing gloves

In-Mold process: manufacturing process in which the inner impact-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, robust bond
