Fulcrum Red Zone 5 29" Wheels

Red Zone 5 is the new wheel designed for cross-country and marathon riding.

The aim of Fulcrum's engineers was to develop two products perfect for training and leisure, durable and reliable for versatile use.

The hubs are new and now share the same shell as those used on the higher-end Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3. They differ in the axle and bearing type: Red Metal 5 and Red Zone 5 use long-lasting, efficient sealed bearings, with fine adjustment of bearing play via a dedicated adjustment ring.

Red Zone 5 wheels feature a 2-WAY FIT READY rim with a depth of just 18.6 mm and a new asymmetric profile, specifically redesigned to balance spoke tension optimally.

The rim width has been increased compared with previous versions to allow use at lower pressures and thereby improve traction and control in the most extreme conditions.

New tone-on-tone graphics, with a partly gloss and partly matt finish, wrap around the rim profile near the valve, while the traditional red box with the logo sits on the opposite side.
