Every hour is an opportunity to improve with smart training features, 24/7 health and wellness monitoring and up to more than a month of battery life with the Power Sapphire™ lens with solare1 charging, built into a rugged case designed for larger wrists.

• Variable light intensities and a red safety light are useful when training in the dark and can provide convenient illumination when needed. Strobe mode can also adapt to your running pace.

• The Hill Score feature measures your ability to run uphill and assesses progress over time based on VO2 max and training history. It measures your strength on steep climbs and your endurance on long inclines while running, and provides a score based on your performance history.

• The new Endurance Score feature combines training data from all sporting activities to help you understand how training affects your overall endurance

• Health and training data should be clear and easy to understand. Start each day with a customisable morning report and view a daily summary of health and wellness information. Use the training readiness feature, which examines a range of health metrics to help you maximise training efficiency, and recupero2 to avoid overtraining.

Garmin was founded in 1989 in Lenexa, Kansas, by Gary Burrell and Min Kao, and today has its global headquarters in Olathe. To accompany you on your rides, it makes Edge GPS cycling computers, Rally power meters, Varia radars and lights. A curious detail: the name Garmin combines the two founders’ names.
