Taking on a technical XC course? Barzo is the choice of the World Champion and the winner of the BC Bike Race. How can such an aggressive XC tyre also be so fast? The secret lies in the central tread, where an alternating knob pattern provides maximum grip at any lean angle. Good cornering grip comes from V-shaped knobs inspired by motocross. The result is a tyre that is fast both under power and through corners, while the medium-profile tread provides good protection.
Graphene 2.0
With the aim of pushing beyond the limits of what is thought possible, Vittoria has developed a new generation of graphene: Graphene 2.0. Unlike first-generation graphene, the new Graphene 2.0 is designed to improve specific tyre performance characteristics. In other words, while the first generation of graphene compounds raised performance evenly across the board, Graphene 2.0 targets individual performance measures and increases them disproportionately to the others. Vittoria can now use graphene to achieve specific performance gains, improving speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance individually.
4C
A tyre's compound, together with its casing, determines how well it grips the ground. Vittoria constantly researches new compounds to create tyres with ever greater performance, grip and durability. In all conditions.
Developed exclusively by Vittoria to achieve ever greater performance, Vittoria 4C is a layering process in which 4 compounds with unique characteristics are combined within a single tyre.
TNT (Tube-no-Tube)
Vittoria TNT (Tube-No-Tube) tyres, despite their reinforced sidewalls, can be up to 100 g lighter than standard Tubeless tyres. TNT tyres provide the highest level of rolling performance, grip, reliability and flexibility, even at low inflation pressures.
XC-Trail
XC-Trail is Vittoria's toughest Cross Country casing. Designed for the toughest and most demanding Cross Country courses, the XC-Trail casing features an additional layer of 120 TPI nylon on the tyre sidewall to prevent sidewall cuts and punctures. The tubeless-ready construction provides strength and durability at a low weight.
Founded in 1953 in Madone, in the province of Bergamo, Vittoria is now based in Brembate and makes bicycle tyres, tubular tyres and inner tubes. From road cycling to mountain biking, it supports cyclists with products that also use graphene in their tyre compounds.
