A continuous layer of Smart Grip Compound is exclusive to PIRELLI Scorpion mountain bike tyres. The advantage is that the knobs retain their high performance even after prolonged use. This ensures uncompromising traction on both dry and wet terrain.

HyperWall construction
The robust Hyperwall sidewall not only reliably prevents punctures on rocky surfaces and during aggressive riding, but also gives the tyres plenty of stability. Stable sidewalls are a cornerstone of tyre performance and safe bike handling, particularly on E-MTB and in gravity applications. The Hyperwall sidewall has a thick rubber layer directly connected to the tyre bead. It increases the tyre's puncture protection by 50% and makes the tyre as stable as a thoroughbred downhill tyre.
