The Maxxis Rekon Race is a semi-slick with the same tread pattern as the trail version of the Rekon, but with smaller, shorter knobs. If you are looking for confidence and speed, these are the perfect tyres for you. Made from high-quality rubber to withstand damage, these tyres will help you overcome any obstacle in your path.

Specifications:

WT - Wide Trail

The WT construction optimises the tyre's tread and volume to suit modern rims. Traditional tyres are designed around narrower rims and risk creating an excessively square profile, reducing performance. WT tyres are optimised for 35 mm wide rims and work correctly with 30 and 35 mm rims.

TR- Tubeless Ready

Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tyres certified UST feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tyres. This technology offers improved puncture resistance, better air retention and greater strength at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. Adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound creates a lighter, stronger and more airtight casing.

EXO-Protection

This material is added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tyres and is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasion. This layer uses a dense, ultralight weave that is highly flexible and does not affect tyre performance.
