The Shimano TL-FC39 chainring tool is a special adapter for fitting and removing crankset chainrings. It does not work on its own: it must be used with another standard Hollowtech II spanner, such as the TL-FC32 or TL-FC36. It is designed for changing chainrings at home or in the workshop.
It is made from hardened steel with a splined profile. Motor and chainring compatibility is listed in the specifications: check before purchasing, as compatibility depends on your motor and chainring. Avoid using an impact driver, which is not suitable for this tool.
