What is the Emilia Romagna Bike Grant 2024?

The Bike Grant 2024 is a practical measure to encourage a greener lifestyle, offering a contribution of up to 1.400 € to cover 50% of the cost of purchasing an electric bike or electric cargo bike.
Requirements and Eligibility
Applications for the Emilia Romagna Bike Grant are open to all adult citizens residing in one of the region's 207 municipalities located in areas where limits for the main pollutants (PM10, NOx) are exceeded and which have signed up to the Regional Air Quality Plan.
Specifically, recipients must be:
- named on the purchase invoice/tax receipt;
- the holders or joint holders of the bank or post office current account into which the grant will be paid.
Please note: only purchases made from 1 January to 31 December 2024 are eligible for funding.
Grant Amount
The Emilia Romagna Bike Grant offers:
- Up to €500,00 towards the purchase of an electric bike.
- Up to €1.000,00 towards the purchase of an electric cargo bike.
The grant cannot exceed 50% of the cost of the bike purchased.
How to Apply for the Grant
The grant application must be submitted online on the Emilia-Romagna Region's dedicated page, which applicants can access using:
- SPID;
- Electronic Identity Card (CIE);
- National Services Card (CNS).
