The Miura C50 wheel is the Ursus clincher concept. Monocoque UD rims with a 50 mm profile and a HPS shield that ensures better dissipation of the heat generated by prolonged braking on carbon. Equipped with aluminium hubs featuring Ursus BBS low-friction technology, with carbon-aluminium hubs also available on request.

SLN Self-Locking Nipples
The patented self-locking nipples feature a perforated nylon ball inserted into the edge of the spoke nipples. This completely eliminates the spoke problem during deceleration, allowing the wheel to remain true over time.
BBS Ball Bearing System
A system with four bearings fitted inside the hub for optimal smoothness. Two bearings arranged in line behind the rear wheel hub prevent the axle from flexing. Reducing this shortcoming eliminates the loss of power applied to the wheel.
HPS Heat Protection Shield
An important inorganic reinforced fibre system. This special shield blocks the heat generated by the rim during braking, preventing the internal structure from compromising the integrity of the carbon.
HIGH-TG Resin System
The carbon used in these rims is impregnated with a special resin that is highly resistant to the high temperatures generated by the brake pads on the rim. This reduces carbon deterioration over time and therefore improves the finished rim's performance.
Reinforced UDR Unidirectional Carbon Fibre
This carbon fibre is designed to work along the main load's line of force. This maintains a very high stiffness-to-weight ratio. A rim with this type of fibre is lighter and more resistant to loads, and is reinforced with additional material at the nipples.
