CroMo steel saddle rails
Saddles bearing this icon have high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel rails. This hardened steel offers greater tensile strength and high elongation at break. The saddle rails are also lighter than conventional rails made from other CroMo alloys.

Saddle rails with a graduated scale
The scale on the saddle rails indicates the area that can be clamped to the seatpost. The scale also provides a convenient reference for individual saddle adjustment.

Central recess
The central recess is an ergonomic indentation in the saddle padding. This channel reduces pressure on the perineum, preventing excessive pressure on nerves and blood vessels. This provides much greater riding comfort, especially on longer tours.

Sporty seating position
When designing a new saddle, XLC first considers the intended use and the corresponding rider position. This is because the seating position ultimately determines the shape and padding of the saddle being developed. The construction of XLC sports saddles is ideal for a sporty riding position in which the upper body leans forwards at approximately 15°. These saddles are mainly used for MTB, cross bikes and road bikes.
