Syncros Tofino R 1.0 Saddle with Cut-Out

Our top endurance saddle, the regularly shaped Tofino suits most riders with a more upright position who sit towards the middle or rear of the saddle. These riders sit mainly on their sit bones and therefore on the widest part of the saddle. The Tofino 1.0 has carbon fibre rails for maximum lightness. The cut-out version is for those with increased sensitivity around the pubic symphysis. Female riders generally sit on the front of the pelvis and the central part of the saddle nose. The cut-out version transfers weight to the bones on either side rather than the centre. Developed in collaboration with renowned bike fitting company gebioMized, this saddle was designed to offer the best possible fit from a production saddle.

Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
