Technologies

Gravity Shield casing
The tyre casing consists of threads of different thicknesses that give the tyre strength, flexibility, performance and lightness according to the range. More numerous, thinner threads produce a lighter construction. Conversely, thicker threads are fewer in number, resulting in a stronger tyre.
The Gravity Shield casing was designed specifically for Enduro, with a 3x33 or 3x60 TPI structure offering unparalleled traction and strength.

Gum X3D compound
Rubber is one of the essential components of a tyre and offers different performance depending on its properties. Gum X3D Tri-Compound is a combination of 3 compounds offering maximum traction, durability and puncture resistance.

Tubeless Ready
UST Tubeless Ready tyres can be fitted without an inner tube under certain conditions:

  • use a Tubeless wheel;
  • do not exceed the stated maximum pressure;
  • use puncture sealant;
  • check tyre pressure before every use.

Michelin TS

Designed to be flexible and lightweight, these beads were invented and developed by Michelin and are made exclusively from aramid fibres, the same fibres used in bulletproof vests. This textile fibre offers high tensile strength with very low weight.

Founded in 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, by brothers André and Édouard Michelin, Michelin is still based in the same city today. For cyclists, it offers tyres, inner tubes and accessories for road, gravel, mountain biking and city riding. Its connection with cycling dates back to its early days: in 1891, it developed the first detachable bicycle tyre.
