About the manufacturer

Bontrager grew out of Keith Bontrager’s work in Sunnyvale, California, in the early 1980s. Acquired by Trek in 1995, it is now part of the group headquartered in Waterloo, Wisconsin. From its first handmade frames, the brand expanded into components, wheels, tyres, helmets and clothing to accompany cyclists on roads and trails.
