Abus - Skurb ACE

Skurb stands for a distinctive approach to the world and a unique style.

Urban safety. Urban lifestyle. The ABUS Skurb is the perfect solution for commuters and trend-conscious sports enthusiasts, whether for skating, longboarding or BMX. Those who previously had to wear a heavy, one-size-fits-all ABS hardshell helmet will appreciate the style and features of this fashionable cycling helmet. In particular, the unique surface combining matt and gloss sections creates an eye-catching effect.

Lower edge protection: the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, knocks and signs of wear

Ponytail opening: the recess in the height-adjustable fit system also makes the helmet suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individually adjusting the helmet to your head circumference

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a fastener to secure the chosen position

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with velcro

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Push-fit buckle: for safe, practical use, the straps have a classic push-fit buckle (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing

In-Mold process: a manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, strong bond

Founded in 1924 in Volmarstein, Germany, by August Bremicker and some of his sons, ABUS is now based in Wetter. It offers cyclists helmets and bicycle locks. Its connection with cycling dates back to 1931, when it launched its first bike lock, the No. 1000.
