Trek Precaliber 24" takes young riders towards longer rides and routes with climbs. The Alpha Silver aluminium frame, 24-inch wheels and suspension fork form a bike proportioned to their build, with 8-speed gearing for tackling climbs.
- Ready to learn: The twist shifter makes choosing gears simpler; brakes and levers designed for children help them become confident in controlling their speed.
- 8-speed drivetrain: The Shimano Tourney TX80 rear derailleur offers gears for tackling those first climbs, without having to manage a front derailleur.
- Saddle with handle: The padded saddle has an integrated grip to help the child handle the bike; the kickstand lets them park it during stops.
- 24-inch size: This size is suitable for children who are 129-150cm tall, providing a riding position and controls proportioned to their build.
From family rides to dirt paths in the park, Precaliber 24 offers room to develop riding skills and discover new routes.
Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
