Trek Domane+ AL 5 adds a boost to road rides while retaining an endurance riding position and drop handlebars. The rear hub motor helps on climbs and into headwinds, allowing you to manage your effort and share the ride with companions riding at different paces.
- Integrated assistance: The 40Nm HyDrive system is powered by a 250Wh battery hidden in the down tube. Range extender compatibility allows you to add capacity with an optional accessory.
- Road bike gearing: The Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain pairs 50/34 chainrings with a 11-34 cassette: you can manage the route by choosing your gear and assistance level together.
- Endurance comfort: The carbon fork and 700x32mm tyres support long road rides; the Bontrager Paradigm rims are Tubeless Ready.
An electric road bike for continuing to enjoy climbs and rides with others, choosing the assistance level to suit the route.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
