Reverse AirCon Brake Pad System for Magura MT2/4/6/8

The Reverse AirCon brake pad system for Magura MT2/4/6/8 brakes adds cooling fins to the pads to reduce heat at the calliper. It is an option for riders who brake continuously on descents and want an upgrade for their existing brake.

The aluminium fins are separate from the pad backing plate, so they remain reusable when you replace the pads. The manufacturer also claims cost savings and a lower environmental impact. The pads use an organic compound, have anodised, laser-engraved fins and weigh 29 g. Heat reduction at the calliper reaches up to 9%. Before buying, check that your brake is a Magura MT2, MT4, MT6 or MT8: the system is compatible only with this series.

Reverse Components was born in 2004 from Peter Schmid’s passion for mountain biking and is now based in Freudenstadt, in Germany’s Black Forest.
