The introduction of the all-new Addict RC laid the foundations for the development of an innovative new SYNCROS cockpit. With modern road groupsets featuring outward-angled brake levers, the aim was to create an aerodynamic handlebar with a moderate flare in the drops that would integrate seamlessly with the brake levers, saving watts while also improving handling. Cable routing has also been improved and the clamping system redesigned to shed extra grams. Multiple cockpit configurations ensure an optimal fit for every rider.

Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
