But the PURL-Y city helmet is also a good choice for a bike without motor assistance. It combines safety and comfort. The impact-absorbing inner material is firmly bonded to the outer shell using the proven In-Mold process. To ensure a comfortable, secure fit, the helmet can be individually adjusted to head size using the smooth, easy-to-grip adjustment dial. There is enough room for a ponytail between the adjustment system and the lower edge of the helmet. With its deep rear section for better protection around the neck, this stylish urban helmet easily suits any style thanks to the range of colour options. A clip-on light is available as an option. Ponytail opening: thanks to the recess in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark

Insect mesh: keeps flies and insects away from your head without blocking the helmet's ventilation

Magnetic rechargeable rear light (optional): the separately available light improves visibility, attaches to the back of the helmet using magnets and can be recharged with a micro USB cable

Clip-on peak: removable peak secured with pins to protect against sunlight

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to head circumference

Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a fastening to secure the chosen position

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with hook-and-loop fastenings

Removable, washable pads: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Click buckle: for safe, convenient use, the straps have a classic click buckle (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing
